Is it me you’re looking for?….. – Lionel Richie

I’ve been alone with you inside my mind
And in my dreams I’ve kissed your lips a thousand times
I sometimes see you pass outside my door
Hello, is it me you’re looking for?………..

I can see it in your eyes
I can see it in your smile
You’re all I’ve ever wanted, (and) my arms are open wide
‘Cause you know just what to say
And you know just what to do
And I want to tell you so much, I love you ……….

I long to see the sunlight in your hair
And tell you time and time again how much I care
Sometimes I feel my heart will overflow
Hello, I’ve just got to let you know……….

‘Cause I wonder where you are
And I wonder what you do
Are you somewhere feeling lonely, or is someone loving you?
Tell me how to win your heart
For I haven’t got a clue
But let me start by saying, I love you ……..

Hello, is it me you’re looking for?
‘Cause I wonder where you are
And I wonder what you do
Are you somewhere feeling lonely or is someone loving you?
Tell me how to win your heart
For I haven’t got a clue

Love to your Love……

IT Magic from Microsoft – Part II

Magic # 1

  • In windows we cant create folders with names CON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9 directly from GUI. This is because, DOS device names are reserved words, and cannot be used as folder or file names.
  • if you still want to create the folders :….. Goto command prompt by typing cmd in the run menu. Type the following command to create the folders with these names… md \\.\\\con
  • The path may be like c:\abcd\xyz\… anything Similiarly remove the folder by replacing md with rd No Magic only Logic… UNC(Universal Naming Convention) is the Logic.

Magic # 2

  • Bush hid the facts is the common name for a bug present in so far all versions of Microsoft Notepad (since Windows 2000), which misinterpret a file in Windows-1252 or similar encoding as UTF-16.
  • While “Bush hid the facts” is the sentence that is most forwarded on the Internet, it does not exclusively occur with that phrase. The bug can be triggered by many sentences, including those that follow a particular
  • structure: one word with 4 letters, two or more words with 3 letters, one word with 5 letters.
  • Some phrases that will trigger this oddity are “畂 桳 栠 摩 琠 敨 映 捡 獴”,
  • “Bill can not dance”, “John has the parts”, “This app can break”, “This pad has bugzs”, “Feel the new power”, “Matrix can not lie”, and even long phrases like “Einstein’s thought regarding mathematics motivated Dhilung Kirat thinkin mathematics wonderfully amazing languagez”.
  • The bug occurs when such a string is entered into Notepad (with no other characters) and then saved as a text file. Upon reloading the file into Notepad, the text will be replaced with nine Chinese characters, or squares if the language pack has not been installed. To retrieve the original text, bring up the “Open a file” dialog box, select “ANSI” in the “Encoding” list box, and open the file.
  • The bug appeared for the first time in Windows 2000 but was not discovered immediately. It was discovered in early 2004 [1] and has since risen in popularity on the Internet.[citation needed] This bug occurs when a file where only the above mentioned string is present. If the file were to be modified by clearing the content and repasting the same string, saved and reopened, this bug will not be reproduced. Notepad misinterprets the encoding of the file when it is re-opened. If the file is originally saved as “Unicode” rather than “ANSI”
  • the text displays correctly. Older versions of Notepad such as those that came with Windows 95, 98 or ME do not include Unicode support so the error does not occur.

Magic # 3

  • =rand (200, 99)
  • this is not bug or error. it is a feature of MS WORD providing a random paragraph writing for testing different formats.
  • how do you test a feature of paragraph formatting if have to type a long paragraph, it gives you that feature

The most dangerous Bird in the world !!..

According to the Guinness Book of Records, the Cassowaries are the world’s most dangerous birds, capable of dealing fatal blows. They are very unpredictable, aggressive creatures, especially if wounded or cornered.

Cassowaries are very large flightless birds native to the tropical forests of New Guinea and northeastern Australia. Normally cassowaries are very shy but when disturbed can lash out dangerously with their powerful legs.

They are capable of inflicting fatal injuries to an adult human. Wounded or cornered birds are particularly dangerous. Cassowaries, deftly using their surroundings to conceal their movements, have been known to out-flank organized groups of human predators.

The Cassowary lives in the rain forests of Australia and New Guinea and are actually pretty shy animals if undisturbed, but if you get to close and it thinks you’re a threat you could receive a bone-breaking kick or get sliced by its dagger-like sharp claws.

During WWII, soldiers stationed in New Guinea were warned to stay away from these birds, but some of them still became victims.

The Cassowary is also one of the most difficult animals to keep in the Zoo because of the frequent injuries suffered by Zoo keepers that look after them.

The meat of the cassowary is said to be very strong in taste and to even make some people a bit dizzy the first time they eat it.

Cassowaries are still part of the diet in New Guinea, where they are either hunted or kept as domestic animals, though this is risky as the birds can escape and if it injures or kills anyone in the village family members will expect compensation or a revenge killing.

This bird can take care of itself, but, unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to help it very much against human cruelty and it is on the endangered species list, along with so many others.

According to researches, the total population of cassowaries is been rapidly reducing, So it would be our duty to protect them although they are the most dangerous birds on earth, and less dangerous than human 🙂

The Largest man-made salt water lagoon in the world !!..

Chile has been awarded the Guinness World Record for the largest swimming pool on the planet.
The gigantic lagoon is located in the resort of San Alfonso del Mar in Algarrobo city, on the southern coast of Chile. Guinness Book of World Records has named it the largest pool in the world. How big is it? One over a kilometer long (3,323 feet), covering 20 acres and containing 250,000 cubic meters of water.

The ocean water is too cold most of the year and the pool is kept at a refreshing 79 degrees during the summer.
While there is plenty of room to swim in the pool, visitors can also cruise across the lagoon on small boats.

The pool took five years to build, cost nearly ?llion and the annual maintenance bill will be ?llion. It can harvest, filter and permanently recirculate ocean water by itself.
The man-made saltwater lagoon has been attracting huge crowds to the San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrobo since it opened last month.

  • It is more than 1,000 yards long, covers 20 acres, had a 115ft deep end and holds 66 million gallons of water.
  • This one took five years to build, cost nearly £ 1billion and the annual maintenance bill will be £ 2million.
  • Its turquoise waters are so crystal clear that you can see the bottom even in the deep end.
  • It dwarfs the world’s second biggest pool, the Orthlieb – nicknamed the Big Splash – in Morocco , which is a mere 150 yards long and 100 yards wide. An Olympicsize pool measures some 50 yards by 25 yards.
  • This dinosaur pool uses a computer- controlled suction and filtration system to keep fresh seawater in permanent circulation, drawing it in from the ocean at one end and pumping it out at the other.
  • The sun warms the water to 26 degree Centigrade, nine degrees warmer than the adjoining sea.
  • Chilean biochemist Fernando Fischmann, whose Crystal Lagoons Corporation designed the pool, said advanced engineering meant his company could build ‘an impressive artificial paradise’ even in inhospitable areas.

Lost Cities in the World !!…

(1) Troy

Myth, folklore, mystery, and intrigue surround the ancient city of Troy like no other ruin on Earth. Once thought to be purely imaginary, a prop in Homer’s epic poem The Iliad, excavations in northwestern Turkey in 1871 eventually proved that the city indeed existed.

In 1871, German adventurer Heinrich Schliemann began digging at Hisarlik, Turkey, (shown here) in search of the fabled city. His roughshod excavation wrought havoc on the site, but revealed nine ancient cities, each built on top of the next and dating back some 5,000 years. At the time, most archaeologists were skeptical that Troy was among the ruins, but evidence since the discovery suggests the Trojan capital indeed lies within the site.

(2) Mohenjo Daro

The Indus Valley civilization was entirely unknown until 1921, when excavations in what would become Pakistan revealed the cities of Harappa and Mohenjo Daro (shown here).

This mysterious culture emerged nearly 4,500 years ago and thrived for a thousand years, profiting from the highly fertile lands of the Indus River floodplain and trade with the civilizations of nearby Mesopotamia.

(3) Tadmor

There is evidence that the ancient city of Palmyra, also known as Tadmor, was in existence as far back as the 19th century B.C. Its importance grew around 300 B.C. as trading caravans began using it as a way station between Mesopotamia and Persia. Palmyra’s strategic location and prosperity attracted the interest of the Romans, who took control of the city in the first century A.D.

Future Predictions form Mr. Juseleeno – who knows??

Mr. Juseleeno,
born in 1960 (reportedly still alive in 2008), is a Brazilian who has made many predictions, and MOST have come to pass, including Princess Diana’s death by car accident (which is instigated by someone near her and will probably unfortunately be written off as a car accident), 9/11 and the 2004 Indonesian tsunami.

He sees the future in his dreams, and has an average of 3 to 9 such predictions per day. When he wakes up, he will write them down, and send warnings to those concerned.
If it concerns only a normal individual, he will write a letter to warn him/her.
If it is a famous person(celebrity, politician etc.), or matters concerning the public, he will not only send it to the individual himself/herself, but also related agencies, government, and media.
He urged the media to publicize these predictions, but the reply always went along the lines of rejection for fear of arousing public panic.

Future predictions:

  • 2008, July: There will be an earthquake in Japan , which will cause a tsunami of 30 plus metres high to occur as well.
  • 2008, 18th September: An earthquake with magnitude of approximately 9.1 will rock China, simultaneously causing a tsunami of more than 30 metres to occur, resulting in the deaths of more than 1 million people. Although this huge earthquake will happen after the Olympics have ended, there will be a series of relatively smaller earthquakes occurring in China before the huge earthquake. The China government, which is more concerned with the success of the Olympics, wills most likely neglect to employ appropriate cautionary measures, thus the high casualty rate. If the China government does not publicize the occurrence of these minor earthquakes and evacuate people, the number of deaths will be as predicted.
  • 2008, 17th December: terrorist attack in America
  • 2010: The temperatures in some countries of Africa could be as high as 58 degrees Celsius, and there will be a serious shortage of water.
  • 2010, 15th June: The New York Stock Exchange market will fail, causing an international financial crisis.
  • 2011: The research on the treatment of some cancers will be completed, but a new life-threatening virus will appear. People who are infected will die after only approx. 4 hours of coming into contact with the virus.
  • 2013, 1st – 25th November: Research on treatment of cancers, except for brain tumors, will be completed. An earthquake, caused by volcanic eruptions, will happen on Bahama Island of the Canary Islands . A gigantic tsunami of roughly 150 metres will result. America mainlands, Brazil etc. will be affected, with the tsunami pushing into the land as far as 15 to 20 kilometres. Before the occurrence of this gigantic tsunami, the sea/ocean water levels will sink by about 6 metres, and large flocks of birds will start to migrate.
  • 2014: A small planet that has been gradually closing in on Earth might eventually collide with Earth, and this collision, if come to pass, will affect the survival of humans as a whole.
  • 2015: By the mid of November, the average temperature of Earth could be as high as 59 degrees Celsius. Many people will die from the overheat, and international confusion and terror ensues.
  • 2016, April: A huge typhoon will invade China , causing massive damage. The 43rd USA president, George Walker Bush, will enter the hospital, and faces a life or death situation.
  • 2026, July: A super earthquake will occur in Sans Francisco, and it will be named ‘The Big One’. Huge damage to surrounding areas. Many volcanoes will re-activate, and the height of resulting tsunami will be more than 150 metres.

Mr. Juseleeno made known his predictions in hopes that people will take heed of his warnings, so that these disasters may be avoided. He hopes there will be a major change in the thinking of people’s mindsets in the time period 2007 – 2008. One factor will be the environmental issue of global warming, which is more serious than what some meteorologists assume.
